The City Court handles traffic infrac

tions, parking and city ordinance
violations. Court sessions are held Thursdays beginning at 8:30 a.m. in the City Hall Court Chambers located on the first floor of City Hall and are presided over by City Court Judge Lori Stein Sabol. Contested hearings are scheduled for the last Thursday of each month.
Cases are heard based on order of sign up which begins at 8 a.m. on Thursdays. A deputy prosecuting attorney is available at city hall when city court is in session to discuss individual cases.
If you have any questions about your case, you may contact the deputy court clerk in the clerk-treasurer's office at 775-5155, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Most fines may be paid prior to scheduled court dates, by using the city's 24-hour online ticket payment service, in person or by mail. However, court appearances are mandatory for noise ordinance violations.
Elected to a 4-year term, the city judge presides over City Court.
