Residents are encouraged to leave grass clippings on their lawns. If you choose to rake or bag your grass clippings, they should be placed in a rigid container for pick up.
Branches should be less than 4 inches in diameter and no longer than 4 feet in length if possible. Please place them all in one direction in an easy-to-handle pile.
In the fall, leaves may be placed win-row style 1 foot away from the curb. Because the city uses a vacuum to pick them up please place brush in a separate pile. Be on the lookout for the collection schedule at the start of the season. Leaf season usually starts at the end of October.
If you rake leaves outside of the scheduled pick up time for the leaf vac, they must be placed in a rigid container for pick up on your yard waste pick up day.
