ORDINANCE NO.
14-97
AN ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION
(Prepared by the Clerk-Treasurer)
WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is now necessary
to appropriate more money than was appropriated in the annual 1997 budget;
SECTION 1:
Be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of West Lafayette,
Tippecanoe County, Indiana that for the expenses of the municipal
corporation, the following additional sums of money are hereby
appropriated and ordered set apart out of the fund herein named and for
the purposes herein specified, subject to the laws of governing the same:

SECTION 2:
Explanation for the additional appropriation:
Police Department:
Acct. No. 1-7-110: Final pay for retiring employees year to date
has exceeded 1997 salary budget.
Acct. No. 1-7-120: Two crossing guards and additional school day
not in 1997 budget.
Acct. No. 1-7-443: Purchase of parking ticket module for 911 system,
laptop computers and printers, and training.
SECTION 3:
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and signing by the Mayor.
