ORDINANCE NO. 16-00 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER OF ORDINANCE NO. 32-97 BEING THE UNIFIED ZONING ORDINANCE OF TIPPECANOE COUNTY. Be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of West Lafayette, Indiana, that Ordinance No. 32-97, being the Unified Zoning Ordinance of Tippecanoe County is hereby amended as follows: Section 1: Change 3-2-8, RETAIL TRADE, of 3-2, PERMITTED USE TABLE, of CHAPTER 3, PERMITTED USE TABLE, by: Revising Footnote 24 under SIC Group 553, AUTO AND HOME SUPPLY STORES, to read: Except as limited in Footnote 55, permitted in NB, NBU, and CB zones (SIC 553), or NB, NBU, CB and COW (SIC 5999) only with no outdoor operation or storage of materials or equipment; and by adding a Footnote 55 under SIC Group 553, AUTO AND HOME SUPPLY STORES, to read: Uses engaged in both selling and installing such automotive parts as tires, transmissions, mufflers, brake linings, and glass are classified in Services, SIC 753 Automotive repair shops.
