RESOLUTION NO. 10-00
A RESOLUTION APPROPRIATING INSURANCE RECOVERY RECEIVED FOR DAMAGE
TO CITY PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the City of West Lafayette has received
insurance recovery for damages to Police Department vehicles;
and
WHEREAS, Indiana Code (IC 6-1.1-18-7) provides
that the Common Council may appropriate the insurance damages
for the purpose of repairing and replacing the damaged property,
provided that the funds are in fact expended to repair or replace
the property within the twelve (12) month period after they are
received.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common
Council of the City of West Lafayette, that funds received as
insurance damages be appropriated as follows:
