RESOLUTION NO. 11-01

A RESOLUTION TO APPROVE UPDATES TO CERTAIN POLICIES CONTAINED IN THE PERSONNEL MANUAL FOR WEST LAFAYETTE CITY EMPLOYEE

WHEREAS, the City's Director of Human Resources, after consultation with representatives from various departments, city employees and the Common Council Personnel Committee, has prepared an update to certain policies contained in the Personnel Manual for City employees; and

WHEREAS, the Common Council Personnel Committee has recommended the approval of the updates to certain policies contained in the Personnel Manual; and

WHEREAS, the West Lafayette Board of Works and Safety has adopted the updates to certain policies contained in the Personnel Manual for employees of the City of West Lafayette; and

WHEREAS, it would be in the best interest of the City to approve these changes;

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST LAFAYETTE that:

The attached updates to certain policies in the personnel manual are ratified.

This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and signing by the Mayor.
